Born on a sunny April day the 23rd of 1963, Clentie Lee “Junebug” Henderson Jr. emerged into the world in the quaint town of Marietta, Texas. From the very beginning, he was destined to leave a mark on those around him. Graduating from Hughes Springs High School in 1981, Clentie embraced life with a warm smile and an open heart. He dedicated 28 years of his life to Cooper Tires, showcasing his unwavering work ethic and commitment to excellence. Clentie was not just an employee; he was a cornerstone of the community, known for his kindness and generosity. Those who knew him were touched by his genuine nature.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clentie Lee Henderson Sr., and beloved grandparents, Otis McCoy, Odell Scott, and May Henderson. Yet, even in his absence, his spirit lives on through the love he cultivated with his family and friends. His devoted wife, Francine Wright - Henderson, stood by his side, while his sons, Keyatta Knox and Jykem C. Henderson, carry forward his legacy. Clentie's mother, Willie M. Henderson, and his siblings—Connie (Tim) Johnson, Ray (Kim) Henderson, and Richard (Leslie) Henderson along with aunts, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends who shared countless memories filled with laughter and love. The bonds he formed with friends like Quincy Henderson, Terry Cooper, Ray Evans, and Michael Washington were particularly special, creating a network of support and camaraderie. Clentie was a friend who listened, a brother who cared, and a son who honored his roots, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
